Description
In this solution you will see how to set up an email client to use it to download Gmail messages.
I will use thunderbird because is free and I like it but you can use whatever email client you want.
Solution
1. Download and install Thunderbird:
http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/all.html
2. Go to your Gmail account.
3. Press Settings.
4. Select Forwarding Pop/Imap.
5. Enable POP for all messages even those who you just been received.
We just made the changes in the Gmail account so we only have to configure Thunderbird.
6. One you have installed thunderbird it will ask some information:
