Description

What you see it what you get is an expression that is in our life since ages but sometimes happens that we have problems printing using Adobe Reader. I have seen this problem for example using a Brother HL-4050CDN and Adobe Reader 9, the printer is in colour but it only prints in black and white.

Solution

This problem is related with how the driver send the information to the printer.  To solve this you only have to tell adobe to print as image, in this case the page render is done by the computer not the printer and for that reason you will see what you get.

If you are using a network printer this command will use more bandwidth and it will take more time.

1. When you are going to print the document at the Print Menu select Advanced:

image2. Select Print as image and press Ok.

Now the computer will send the images of the file.
