Menu Disappears In Microsoft Word 2000

Description

It is not unusual that Word losses the configuration of the toolbars.

Solution

You can use Winword  from the command line. It has a switch to restore to the default.

1. Press Windows Key + R, type cmd and press enter.

2. In the command window type cd /D %ProgramFiles%, and press enter.

3. Type

cd microsoft office

and press enter.

4. Type

cd Office

and press enter.

5. Type

winword /a

and press enter.
